Editorial approach
Our editorial approach values clear claims, careful context and respect for complexity. We aim to make engaging reading without making a small detail carry more certainty than it can bear.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable sources and take care with names, dates, translations and cultural context. We separate established information from interpretation, and note uncertainty where it matters. A custom may differ across communities and over time; we avoid presenting one version as universal.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the reader and the subject, not to secure a favourable mention. A collaboration does not guarantee coverage, and partners do not approve independent editorial work.
Corrections
If a published piece contains an error, we review the point and update the text when warranted. Significant corrections are identified clearly so readers can understand what changed. Readers may send corrections through the Contact page.
Partner material and images
Paid or partner-supported material is labelled plainly and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, the image or its caption will say so. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence.
